Project Description

Alpine Demolition was hired to do the demolition of the former Gove Middle School located between two major intersections in Denver, Colorado. Alpine was contracted byNational Jewish Hospital to perform the demolition so they can expand it to a parking area. Within our scope of work, we also need to do the removal of a pedestrian bridge which crosses Colorado Blvd. Alpine removed the bridge in the middle of the night and had to close Colorado Blvd down for four hours. Alpine reached a recycling rate of 80% on this project and encountered many weather delays due to high winds and snow.
