Project: 990 Bannock Demolition
Scope of Services: Demolition
Project Completed: Spring 2019
Project Description:
Alpine Demolition was hired to do the demolition, transportation, and disposal of the former Denver Health Administrative building located at 990 Bannock in Denver, Colorado. The building encompasses over 100,000 square feet and is concrete and steel framed. The building itself is five stories and encompasses over 2.1 acres. Alpine was responsible for the stormwater controls, abatement and all necessary disconnects including the water to be disconnected at the main and all necessary water disconnects. Alpine worked very closely with the City and County of Denver to ensure all necessary controls and safety measures were in place prior to starting Demolition. Alpine used a high reach excavator with a reach of 85 feet to safely demolish the building in sections. We also have additional excavators in site to direct load the waste to save time and help the client reach their schedule. Alpine has had to endure high winds, and several snowy and cold weather days. Alpine is on schedule to complete this project on time and within budget.
